For Electricians

Electrical Software That Runs the Whole Job, From Quote to Paid

Zoop is billing-first electrical software for small electrical contractors. Quote on site, send the invoice, get paid by link, and schedule the next job, all in one place. No per-seat cost. Free during beta.

Everything an electrical business needs to run the day

Zoop handles the full job lifecycle: estimate, schedule, do the work, invoice, and collect. Built for solo electricians and small crews, not enterprise IT.

Quotes that turn into invoices

Build an estimate with line items from your pricebook or custom pricing, add a expiration date if you want one, and convert it to an invoice in one click. Everything carries over, including named tax rates and per-line overrides.

Get paid by link

Send a secure payment link your customer pays from their phone, no login. Cards and ACH bank pay through Stripe, with Apple Pay and Google Pay surfaced automatically. Save a card for next time.

Scheduling, jobs, and dispatch

Create one-time jobs with a customer, an assigned tech, start and end times, and line items. Run a multi-view calendar (day, week, month, list), filter by tech or crew, and work the dispatch board.

Recurring jobs and billing

Set up RRULE-based repeating jobs for service contracts and inspections that auto-materialize on a rolling window. Run maintenance memberships with auto-pay gated by a full payment-consent trail.

Customers and full history

Every customer gets contacts, locations, notes, and complete job and payment history. Your panel-change customer from two years ago is one search away when they call again.

Online booking storefront

Publish a real business website with your services, hours, service radius, and brand, then take bookings through a 3-step widget that holds a time slot. Lead-gen, not just a business card.

Billing-first

Quote in the truck, invoice before you leave the panel

Most electrical software treats billing as an afterthought. Zoop is built around it. Pull standardized pricing from your pricebook, apply multiple named tax rates with per-line overrides, send a clean PDF or email, and let automatic dunning chase the slow payers with reminders. Need to fix a sent invoice? Correct it in place or void and reissue with version snapshots, so your records stay clean. Record cash and checks manually, and show offline payment instructions like Zelle or Venmo right on the invoice even before Stripe is connected.

Full lifecycle

Schedule the crew, dispatch the day, bill the recurring contracts

Zoop ships scheduling and dispatch today, not someday. Assign techs to jobs, group them into crews, and filter the calendar so each electrician sees their own day. Share a calendar URL with the office. For recurring service agreements and inspection routes, set up repeating job series that materialize automatically with techs already assigned, separate from your recurring billing plans. Owner, office, and tech each get their own permissions, and there is no numeric seat cap, so adding your apprentice or a part-time dispatcher costs nothing extra.

Frequently asked questions

Is Zoop really field service software for electrical businesses, or just invoicing?

Both. Zoop is billing-first, but it runs the whole job lifecycle: quotes, invoices, pay-by-link, customers, scheduling, jobs, dispatch, crews, recurring job series, and recurring billing are all live today. It is not invoicing now with scheduling later.

How do my electrical customers pay?

You send a secure, signed payment link they open on their phone with no login. They can pay by card or ACH bank transfer through Stripe, and Apple Pay and Google Pay appear automatically when available. Cards can be saved for next time. You can also record cash and checks manually and list offline methods like Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App directly on the invoice.

Can Zoop handle recurring service agreements and inspections?

Yes. Repeating job series schedule recurring visits automatically on a rolling window with techs assigned across the series. Separately, recurring billing plans run maintenance memberships with charge-now, skip, pause, resume, and cancel, plus auto-pay protected by a customer authorization flow and a full consent compliance trail.

What does Zoop cost for electrical contractors?

Zoop is free during beta. Pricing is role-based (owner, office, tech), not seat-capped, so there is no per-seat charge as your crew grows. Payments run on Stripe, which has its own standard processing fees.

Does Zoop work on my phone in the field?

Yes. Zoop works in any mobile browser today, so you can quote, invoice, take payment links, and check the schedule from the job site. A native iOS and Android app is pre-release and arriving around the end of Q2 2026.

What is on the roadmap?

Coming soon: conversational Zoop AI with voice-to-invoice and photo parts analysis, Tap to Pay, digital contracts and e-signatures, inventory tracking, and advanced reporting. These are not live yet, so we do not sell them as shipped. The AI receptionist and automated maintenance reminders, however, are available today.
